THREE INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY EVENTS BROUGHT GRUPO IPS TO GERMANY, HOUSTON AND RIO DE JANEIRO IN SEPTEMBER 2026.
September was an active month for Grupo IPS, with our teams participating in three major industry events across Europe and the Americas, connecting with operators, developers, technology providers and other energy-sector specialists.
At Celle Drilling 2026, held September 15–16 in Celle, Germany, Grupo IPS shared its experience in integrated geothermal projects. [CONFIRM TYPE OF PARTICIPATION.]
From September 20–23, our team attended the 50th Geothermal Rising Conference in Houston, Texas, where conversations centered on the development of new geothermal resources and the technologies required to drill increasingly challenging wells. At the same time, Grupo IPS was represented at ROG.e 2026, held September 21–24 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, connecting with oil & gas operators and service companies from across South America.
Across all three events, one theme remained particularly relevant: the growing convergence between oil & gas drilling expertise and geothermal development.
Technologies originally engineered for demanding oil & gas environments—including directional drilling, high-temperature downhole tools and specialized drilling systems—are increasingly relevant to the technical challenges of geothermal wells.
For Grupo IPS, that convergence represents a natural connection between more than two decades of drilling experience and the evolving needs of the global energy industry.
